70th Annual District Eight Conference April 24-26, 2026 — Four Point by Sheraton– Bentonville, Arkansas
Our new District Eight Leadership Workshop series is designed to bring district resources and training closer to Altrusans across our wide region — especially those in more remote areas. In 2025, two workshops were hosted: one in June in St. Louis, Missouri, and another in September in Lawrence, Kansas. Each one-day event focused on leadership development, hands-on learning, and connection with fellow members. Details for the 2026 Leadership Workshops will be announced soon — stay tuned for dates and locations!
International Convention
Every second year, Altrusa International holds a convention for the entire membership, with a similar purpose to District Conference but on a larger scale. The four-day program includes business meetings, a variety of workshops, keynote speakers, service projects, recognition through awards, election of international leadership, opportunities to connect and socialize with Altrusans from across the world, and a lot of fun!
The next Altrusa International Convention is July 21-24, 2027, in Columbus, Ohio
